LENGTH OF PROGRAM –
40 Minutes.
SUBJECT MATTER –
Storytelling and creative brainstorming – plus completion of a scouting award (as described in format section, below).
FORMAT –
Opening introduction, student-participatory storytelling, Q&A session will cover Cub Scout Communication Belt Loop, Daisy Promise Center, Brownie Her Story Try-It, or Junior Girl Scout Book Badge, interactive exercise incorporated when time permits, craft explanation, handouts, any optional sales.
TITLES INCOPRORATED –
One of three original, orally shared stories inspired by the values instilled by Girl and Boy scouting. (“A Dangerous Journey”, “How Daisy Grew”, or “How Six Boys Who Meant to Cross a Bridge Accidentally Crossed a Country”). (All by Reji Laberje.)
INCLUSIONS –
Take-home craft-in-a-bag with mini-storybook for every participant and an audio book for the host group.
OTHER INFORMATION –
Proceeds from audio book sales at Scout Stories events benefit the host organization (Fund-READ-er!).
