Assemblies are the core of Reji Laberje Author Programs. Each is aimed at a specific grade range of students and is intended for presentation to very large groups including to a full school. Beyond grade range, each of the three assemblies focuses on a specific learning area while also including material that fits today’s cross-curricula teaching methods. Filled with learning disguised as fun and entertainment, assembly students leave passionate about the written word. As such, assemblies are typically chosen for presentation in September/October and again in January/February in order to light the flame in learners at the beginning of a school year and beginning of a semester. (Despite these being, historically speaking, the most booked months, assemblies are offered throughout the year.) Assemblies are charged at just $400.00, a fraction of many authors’ visits in which no reading and writing application even takes place, and they are available at a discount in special school day packages.
