Today, Reji, a proud Air Force Arabic
Linguist veteran, is living outside of Washington D.C. with her loving
family and pets and a blessed network of close and fabulous friendships.
In addition to her active writing and speaking career, Reji is a full-time
at-home mom and homemaker. Her family is very happily busy with extra
curricular involvements and very active in community leadership,
participation and volunteering for sports, cub scouts, girl scouts,
performance arts, church, USO, public schools, and more. Reji gives her
time almost exclusively to the children in her lives and the many
activities in which they are involved. Also, most recently, she was
introduced to the passion of charity races and she continues to train and
to regularly seek out and participate in triathlons and other athletic
events. It is through this venue and through sales of her premiere book
release that Reji donates to most of her chosen charities, although her
other activities within the community lend themselves to her philanthropic
efforts as well. One of Reji’s favorite things to do is to read to the
classrooms of her children. She does this often in her own children’s
classrooms and also in her times volunteering for schools in the area.
She remains close with her sisters and nieces in Wisconsin and also does
her best to make time for family in Maine, Ohio and New York State as well
as friends across the nation and world. In short, so much of life is good
and Reji is always seeking out ways to rediscover that and to share that
discovery with those around her – especially children.
Reji’s many written works have
appeared in her
first printed publication, student
publications, in production on school and community stages, and
online. Her presentations and
storytelling (to include her original works and original designed story
times) have been utilized by scouting groups, schools and many other
organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic region. She writes and presents
actively and has remained happily at the forefront of education and
entertainment through juvenile fiction for the better part of her young
and adult life.
