NOW SCHEDULING The Backwards Book
through June 2008 and Wonder Kids for Fall 2008!
“I was
struck by the way Reji was able to pull each child in and engage them
while also keeping control over the situation… Reji’s presentation was
one of the best I’ve witnessed in terms of combining the content she
was sharing with audience participation. She cleverly and effectively
alternated times when the children were listening with times when they
could think of answers to share, volunteer to be a part of the
presentation, or watch their friends act things out."
~
Amy
Warren, Ed.D., Parent, Girl Scout Leader, School Volunteer on Reji’s
presentation of her own educational seminar, “The Backwards Book”.

Reji is
available to the metropolitan Washington D.C., Baltimore, Maryland and
Fairfax, Virginia areas through June of 2008, and in the greater
Milwaukee,
Wisconsin and Chicagoland
areas* beginning
in August 2008 to present her educational seminar, The Backwards Book,
featuring The Tale Travelers Book 1: Henry's History and aimed
at grades 2 to 8 (adjustable demonstration based on audience
participation). Additionally, Reji has just recently introduced her
second seminar, Wonder Kids, to coincide with her soon to be released
Young Adult Fantasy novel, Cooper Ridge, The Wonder Kid. Wonder Kids
weaves in elements of the much-anticipated book about a quadriplegic
boy who lives a secret life in his dreams, well-received exercises in
description and a series of educational, brainstorming exercises and
techniques that will empower children in grades
4 to 8 to
understand their value from the inside out. Reji is scheduling
Wonder Kids as soon as August 2008. Pick from either one of her
one-hour programs, or choose both.

“Thanks
for letting us be writers and for teaching us the things a book needs
to be good."
~ Abby
(student)
“As
an educator, I enjoyed how Ms. Laberje responded to the children’s
questions, kept the children interested and impassioned with the
storyline, and most importantly incorporated reading strategies that
students use during guided instruction in the classroom."
~
Tammy Barnes, 4th Grade Teacher, on Reji’s reading of her original
young adult fantasy book, “Cooper Ridge, The Wonder Kid”.
